Title: Whaddaya do if you have to take that one more class?

Came across this exchange on Twitter just now.  Who knows what the story is, but I thought it was interesting to think about.  Would you try to scamper out of it, or would you do the work to get your degree (assuming for the sake of argument it's a departmental thing and not just a paperwork thing)?

Wow, that would suck.  I would see if it could be waived or I could do something over the summer.  I would hate to have to come back for another semester.
