This article seems to be saying "bet on science, but only when it tells us things we like."

What would you have us do instead?  Let bleeding heart liberals tell us which parts of science to listen to?

I think you're a little over the top (or maybe trying to troll me).

Look: science is good stuff, but there are lots of different and conflicting results you can get, all of them factually correct.  Should we do what is possible (because science tells us so), or should we make sure we know the implications of our actions first?

Not sure what you mean?  Pro-science or anti-science?  I can't believe we're even having this discussion.
