North Dakota State No. 2 in USA Today Sports Weekly FCS Preseason Top 25

North Dakota State University was ranked No. 2 in the USA Today Sports Weekly College Football Special Edition Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) Preseason Top 25 on newsstands through the month of July.
The Bison are one of five Missouri Valley Football Conference teams ranked in the top 15. Northern Iowa is No. 9, Southern Illinois is No. 13, South Dakota State is No. 14 and Youngstown State is No. 15.
NDSU running back Tyler Roehl, a 5-foot-10, 232-pound senior from West Fargo, N.D., is listed as one of 10 FCS players to watch during the 2008 season. Roehl rushed for 1,431 yards and 21 touchdowns last season including a school-record 263 yard in the 27-21 win at Minnesota.
North Dakota State is scheduled to open the 2008 season against Austin Peay at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, in the Fargodome.
