Media distro

I have a friend (Moto) who is looking to build a media machine.  He wants to find a distro that comes with all the media programs (and hardware support) included.  Does anyone have an idea of what he might try?

If you know, post here and PM him.  He should hang out on the board more often.

I built a media server with Ubuntu and MythTv.  If he wants something that comes more ready to go take a look at http://www.mythtv.org//modules.php?name=Web_Links&l_op=viewlink&cid=3, specifically KnoppMyth
