MAYVILLE, N.D. – Student tour guide Clayton Dodson is often embarrassed to show future Mayville State University freshmen where they will live.
The rooms in Agassiz Hall are too small to be shared with a roommate, and students are usually less than impressed by the condition of the 40-year-old building, the senior said.
Student housing would get a much-needed upgrade if the 2009 state Legislature approves a university request to turn the hall into more modern apartment-style living quarters...

Hopefully they get the funds, apartment style living is taking off on campuses.

Is apartment style like a suite? We had suites in undergrad, three or five bedrooms with a shared common area and kitchen.

It depends. I have seen it where a few separate bedrooms share common areas and I have also seen studio apartments called apartment style living.
