I'll leave you a voicemail.  It will probably be Merrifield again, but could be Thompson if we do it fast?

As an aside, these routes weren't on Map My Ride so I added them:

No-drop road ride today leaving from the Union at 5:15 PM.  Wear a helmet and, if you are worried about rain, dress appropriately.

Thanks for the invite last night, but I'm behind on this week's sequence.  Have to do running intervals today.

For reference this month's sequence is:

day 1) power lift
day 2) running intervals (yes that means I have to double up tomorrow or sunday)
day 3) metabolic
day 4) power lift
day 5) biking intervals

I'll probably combine the met-con and bike on Sunday.  I've been slacking on the bike so all my conditioning is bass-ackwards in favor of running.  Need to since a good non-injury marathon (a first) is this fall's goal.  Still working on the coach for more cross training.

April 9, 20100: Anyone want to go for a ride today at noon? I'm thinking 2 hrs of easy, just to get the legs spinning. Or rather, I'm gonna swing by the union at that time and if anyone is there then I'd consider picking up hitchhikers.

Frontal assault ride Tue. afternoon (stay tuned for timing).

What is a frontal assault you ask?

Basically, you ride north taking advantage of some tail wind (SW winds) till you hit the cold front.  Then as the cold front passes, you ride back with another tailwind (NNW).  At the current time, it looks like the front should pass around 4-5pm... perfect!  Still 48 hours out so we'll see.

Regardless of how the front pans out, I'm down for a ride regardless.  I'm still on the MTB so no drop. I'd probably cruise around the river and check out the flooding on the S side of town.  I made it down to the Burke addition on Sat.   There's a gnarly (safe) surfing wave in one of those large concrete forms to send ditch/coulee water into the river along Meriweather road.  I'm tempted to break the kayak out, but there are some legal ramifications...

TC: I've tried to do this on 3 separate occasions. But I ended up all headwinds all the time.

If anyone is interested I was thinking about doing a ride at 5:30 this evening.  More of a chill no drop ride.  I am definitely tired after last weeks training and I bet the guys who rocked it down in Kansas are as well.  1:30 chat ride.
