From what I have witnessed they do fail.

I agree, as long as there is communication, honesty and both people are clear on what they're looking for then it can work. Oddly enough, with all that openness and communication that purely sexual relationship has to grow a certain level of emotional attachment. I think that jealousy from one person or another is the part that dooms it. So, with that said, why not just having a functional (emotional) relationship with a lot of sex? Good times all around and nobody goes home jealous.

In my opinion, it is possible, though quite uncommon, for two people to have a purely sexual relationship without it being a failure.  All it takes is complete and total honesty and two people who both want the same thing.

Ah, someone who doesn't like to date Republicans.  A woman after my own heart.

Agree. If it was just about sex, dating would be a lot easier, and I wouldn't have turned down so many Republicans!  ;)

The authors of this article are mistaken. Any relationship that's based purely on sex will fail. Bottom line.

Why do you believe this?  :bootyshake:
