There is a pro audio forum that you must use real names to post. If you think you can make one up, then you don't know the pro audio world that well. Most people know most people, and if you make something up and someone is coming in to your area and wants to meet up, what do you say?

its a matter of professionalism in my opinion... some forums aren't meant for real names. others are.
