If any of you are interested in any type of computer parts check out www.newegg.com, its the best site, i've built over 30 desktops useing parts from off that site, not only is it cheaper than customizing one on dell.com, its also nice to say that you built it yourself.

In case anyone cares, they have some good deals at Best Buy; including LCD monitors for less then $200 (17 & 19 inch)

I still need to get one, its too hard living in the dorms with out a computer.

I agree with that, while the labs are nice, a comptuer goes a long way!

I have noticed this also.  I bought an 14" LCD about 3 years ago and now I can get one that is 5" larger for $100 less than what I paid.  Might have to get a new one...

That sucks.  It seems like a trend with alot of stuff, computer and those USB storage drives have dropped quite a bit relative to their features.

-On a side note, gas prices are plummeting!!!  :o

I recently read that PC prices should be dropping due to a drop in the cost of processors.

I also read that LCD prices should also be going down, due to an abundance of inventory the manufacturers have.

Maybe I can finally get a nice LCD screen!

That would be really nice (the LCD drop).  I have had my eye on some 19" for awhile.  Hope they drop fast and far!
