Also to add, getting into state championship events is really a great opportunity in this area. In larger areas, you have to be invited or qualify for these events. Anyone looking for good resume building stuff, these are some races to consider. ND/SD/MN state champ stuff that is.

This race series also counts as the SD Time Trial Championship, SD Road Race Championship, and the ND/SD Criterium Championship!  There are cash prizes.

Options are to do the whole stage race or to just enter the Citizen's TT.  The Sioux Falls Criterium is reputed to be a pretty good one in downtown Sioux Falls, SD.

The field limits look pretty small now that I look at them, so if you're thinking about it you might need to get in it really soon.
