Thats a cool idea.  Any idea how many bikes get stolen at universities up here?

It's hard to tell, I think.  I imagine most people who buy crappy bikes just accept that they are going to get stolen and so they don't report it or make a big deal to the police when it happens.  But without that data, the university will just continue thinking everything is perfect.

I've heard from several people who have had their rides stolen; unfortunately we don't know where they go unless we happen to drag one out of the coulee now and then.
