I spoke with Kim G. Tuesday during the Greenway Users meeting and when she mentioned the disc golf course I brought up UND cycling CX races and she said there wouldn't be any issues holding future races in that area as long as proper signage, course markings, etc....might want to secure race dates sooner than later so the disc golfers dont have it reserved for an event.

Reserving dates sooner is a good idea no matter what I think.
