UND Cycling 1st Annual Kids Race!

We're looking for volunteers for the kids race. If you have any time to spare to assist before during or after the event let us know. There will be a meeting held very soon (this week (4/7) or next (4/14)) to discuss the exact aspects of how its going to happen.

Any questions you may e-mail me directly via the info on the flier.

Wednesday Meeting!!!! 4/23 and 4/30

Hey squad!

There's going to be a meeting on Wednesday April 23rd and Wednesday April 30th.

I'll be discussing the details for our kids race and assigning jobs for everyone who wishes to volunteer.

There are also a number of new faces floating through the ranks so we'll do a meet and greet as well.

If anyone has any problemos that need to be brought up that are pertinent to the kids race, get them up on here and they'll be worked into the agenda.

The meeting on the 23rd will be at 9:30pm. This is to accommodate some of our sponsors. The room will be posted shortly (I'll find out tonight).

The meeting on the 30th will be at 7:00pm, room to follow as well.

Tiffy Bear: Registration and grilling.
Emmy Gurl: Registration and grilling.
Hollywood: Officiating and Grill acquisition.
Cuervo: Eat birthday cake.
Beek: Officiating, possible sound patrol?
Toaster: Tech Inspection. Prize Patrol. Grill Transport. Source extra bicycles?
Rock Lobster: Tech Inspection. Prize Patrol. Grill Transport. Source extra bicycles?
Guardrail: Oversee all operations. Officiate starting and finishing. Bring money. Get sorted with parking and wellness.

Did I miss anything?

And just a note: Any idle members that are ghosting, we still need AT LEAST one more volunteer.

Final meeting is next Wednesday 4/30 @ the U in the Memorial room. 7pm.

Right here. ahh I know I am being a worthless piece of crap by not showing up to the meeting, but I will volunteer. I will make sure to be there next wed. @ 7pm for the next meeting. I should have another person to tag along as well. she isn't in the club, but said she would come volunteer with me. Dave, just let me know what you need help with.

I'm still looking for mobile sound, although it sounds (ha ha) like there will be a dearth of entertainers that day due to Springfest.  Whether they are running sound there or just getting drunk, I am unsure about.

Never mind, I will fill in with details tomorrow.  Looks good!

The setup shouldn't take long at all. I'll be there at 8ish with Mario. Other people can show up as needed. 9am at the latest unless its been discussed otherwise.

If you happen to have a UND Jersey, wear that as a shirt (we don't need full kits or our bikes per se) otherwise... wear green if possible.

I think that covers it. Questions comments or concerns... let me know.

Also, listen for Yost and I on TrevorD and Blue in the morning on XL93! SHould be about 8am on Thursday!

The minimum number of bikes one should own is three.  The correct number is n+1, where n is the number of bikes currently owned.  This equation may also be re-written as s-1, where s is the number of bikes owned that would result in separation from your partner.

We're set for sound--bring any kid-safe cds or mp3s you want and we can play it.  We also have a wireless mic for doing announcements.

I'd 1st like to congratulate all of our participants and 2nd thank all of our members for helping out. Lastly I'd like to thank our sponsors for making this event much more than it was originally expected to be. You all really came through for us.

Lastly: If anyone has pictures... I'm gonna go ahead and ask you to make them available to me somehow.

Instead of posting pic after pic, it might be best to post up if you HAVE pics.
