Looking for road bike

Hello everyone I'm looking into doing the cycling group but I have a couple questions about where I should get a road bike from and I don't have a whole lot of budget to deal with. Just wondering and thanks for any help!!

1. For what size frame are you looking?  How tall are you?
2. "Budget" is a hard thing to figure out without numbers.  Are we talking under $100, under $500, under $1,000, or more?

If you're looking for new, you should stop by The Ski and Bike Shop on South Washington street.  If you're looking for used, I would try Craigslist, the UNDerground, and this message board, and if that doesn't work, eBay.

Also, yard sales have good deals.  Go check out some yard sales this weekend.
